My mission in management consulting is to grow and support passionate entrepreneurs and managers like you on a path to fulfilling your business goals by incorporating your unique needs and aspirations into a customized plan for success. Since launching my business, I have been in a very unique position to actively grow leaders like you into who your team needs and to be that background force that often goes unseen but has a meaningful impact felt in the company's everyday workings. I find ultimate fulfillment in getting leaders to the point of being more "Smokey the Bear" than "fire fighter" while providing them the tools and knowledge necessary for their success as they do the same for their own teams.

This is where I come in. As a manager with a strong customer service background of 20+ years both in the veterinary industry and beyond as well as 8+ years of management experience, I offer valuable expertise in operations management, human resources management and development, and customized customer care. I have made significant contributions to customer satisfaction, and employee development as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies in both AR and NC.
Over my career, I’ve operated under a simple principle: Work smarter. I’m the person who identifies inefficiency, finds ways to streamline it by implementing key technology and process improvements, and consistently strives to boost the productivity of everyone around me. I am well-versed in the Lean Six Sigma concept and have led projects which produced significant and sustainable savings. Other examples of my work include:
Developing and implementing department specific training programs and assessments for multiple companies resulting in a more consistent and higher quality client/patient experience provided across the team.
Creating repeatable and scalable support infrastructure by reorganizing job responsibilities and descriptions and tweaking procedures to improve flow and efficiency empowering my teams to confidently perform essential daily functions without the need for frequent management intervention.
Launching a customer feedback initiative that vastly improved client experience as attested to an overall improvement in public opinion online (an increase from 2.6 to 3.5 on Google alone in just a few months) and in the number of formal complaints received (a decrease from 7-10 /week to 2-3/month).

Gardening and environmental sustainability projects are my jam, and geeking out using spreadsheets, checking off to-do lists, and helping others (human and animal) in meaningful ways makes me happy. I am a collaborative, big-picture thinker and have a pretty good eye for creative, outside the box solutions to complex problems.
When I am not in front of my computer screen, I’m outside working toward converting my yard into a permaculture masterpiece one square foot at a time, and if I have spare time between my husband, kiddo, cat, and business, you’ll find me attempting to DIY my home and listening to webinars on all manner of interesting subjects in the name of continuous improvement.
